Sue Pascoe is an accomplished counsellor with many years of experience in the field. She is a member of the Australian Counselling Association and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia and has worked with a diverse range of clients including adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Sue is dedicated to helping her clients to develop effective strategies and tools to address their concerns. She is outcome focused to help create lasting changes for her clients. Sue is professionally grounded and guides her clients through the navigation of their issues, whilst seeking insights to help identify new perspectives. She gently supports her clients to help make positive change possible. Sue seeks to make each counselling experience constructive, whilst exploring potentially tough issues. Sue is committed to helping her clients find new ways to manage life’s challenges.
Every session with Sue is client-centred and tailored to meet her client’s goals and personal therapeutic needs. She integrates contemporary models of counselling into her practice such as: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Exposure and Narrative Therapies, Solution Focused Therapy, Breathing techniques, Schema Therapy, and the Gottman Method. Sue offers an Anger Management program to her clients who may be struggling with regulating their emotions. Sue believes that counselling can be a rewarding experience, rich with learning and she enjoys helping her clients achieve greater understanding, health, and long-term happiness.
