Jisha Syriac is a qualified counsellor with comprehensive training and a professional approach to supporting her clients. She is a registered member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Jisha provides a highly collaborative experience where clients can explore their thoughts and challenges with confidence and dignity. She meets each person where they are at in the realities of their everyday life. Jisha’s sessions blend practical, evidence-based techniques with deeper approaches that work at a subconscious level, through which clients often experience shifts in self-awareness, habits, and emotional resilience. She works at the client’s own pace and in line with their unique goals to build trust and support lasting change.
As a result of this integrative and personalised approach, clients often feel emotionally regulated, confident, and grounded in themselves and their relationships. Jisha draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and creative therapies, such that each session is designed to meet the client’s needs in a meaningful and effective way. At times, she also uses hypnotherapy techniques, whereby clients who struggle to express themselves verbally can find other ways to communicate and grow. Jisha is committed to continuous professional development to offer the highest quality care. She finds counselling to be a transformative journey, one through which people rediscover clarity, confidence, and connection within themselves and their lives.
