Frauke Hobbs is a highly accomplished counsellor with over 30 years’ experience in the field. She is a clinical member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia and is passionate about supporting people to reach their full potential. Frauke has worked in a range of diverse settings with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She utilises a range of conventional and expressive therapy modalities to help people uncover personal strengths, insights, and new perspectives that allow them to make empowering changes in their lives.
Frauke provides a highly supportive experience where she meets clients with unconditional positive regard to help facilitate change. She uses a client-centred approach that empowers and motivates her clients in the therapeutic process so that they can discover personalized solutions within themselves. Frauke believes that everyone has an inner self that is whole, wise, and resourceful and that everyone strives for and has the capacity to fulfill their own potential. In her counselling practice she helps people connect with their unique qualities and core self, so that they can express their inner potential and purpose in life.
Frauke integrates conventional and expressive-creative therapies in her counselling practice, including Acceptance Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and compassion-based approaches. She helps people develop positive, caring relationships with themselves and others, as well as finding new perspectives that support their growth.
