Andrew Gurman brings over 19 years of dedicated experience to his role as a counsellor, fostering personal growth and emotional well-being in his clients. With a Bachelor of Psychology and extensive experience, Andrew works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across a wide range of presenting concerns.
Andrew creates an experience that cultivates greater self-acceptance, self-awareness, and growth. He fosters an environment where clients feel empowered to explore their innermost concerns openly and without judgment. His approach therefore allows individuals to uncover a sense of wholeness, inner strength, and resilience. Andrew supports clients to connect with a more connected and profound relationship with oneself and the people in their lives.
Andrew collaborates with his clients to set meaningful goals and equips them with the necessary skills and insights to navigate life’s challenges effectively. He does this by integrating a variety of evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Trauma-Informed Care, and a Person-Centred Approach.
