Jessica Barlow is an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist who works with adults, adolescents, and children facing a broad range of emotional and psychological challenges. She holds a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Bachelor of Social Science, and is a registered member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
Drawing on her extensive training and warm client-centred approach, Jessica supports individuals in navigating emotional difficulties, building resilience, and moving toward meaningful change. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based therapeutic frameworks and shaped by a deep respect for each client’s unique life story. She is therefore committed to providing a highly supportive environment where clients feel encouraged and empowered. Her approach helps individuals develop deeper self-awareness, strengthen their emotional coping skills, and build more connected, fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.
Jessica’s therapeutic style is tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from a range of modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). In this space, Jessica works collaboratively with those who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, helping them explore the roots of their emotional experiences and identify practical, sustainable paths forward. She brings genuine empathy, insight, and curiosity to her work, creating space for reflection, growth, and greater self-understanding.
