Andrew Keswick is a registered counsellor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), supporting individuals and couples through relationship challenges, stress, emotional difficulties, and major life transitions. Andrew is known for his calm, grounded and approachable style, creating a respectful and non-judgemental space where clients can speak openly and begin making sense of what is happening in their lives and relationships.

Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected or exhausted from trying to hold everything together on their own. Distress does not always look the way people expect. It can show up through stress, anger, emotional shutdown, overthinking, repetitive conflict, emotional distance, withdrawal or difficulties in relationships. Andrew helps clients better understand these patterns, explore what may sit beneath them and develop healthier and more effective ways of responding. Andrew believes therapy works best when it feels clear, collaborative and purposeful. From the outset, he works alongside clients to understand their concerns, identify meaningful goals and create a practical path forward. His approach is strength-based and free from shame, recognising that many coping patterns develop for understandable reasons.

Drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-based therapy, psychodynamic and trauma-informed approaches, as well as the Gottman Method for couples therapy, Andrew tailors each session to the individual and their unique circumstances. At the heart of Andrew’s work is the belief that meaningful change becomes possible when people feel safe enough to be honest, seen and understood enough to feel less alone and supported enough to move forward with greater clarity, confidence and connection.
